Edward’s parents, Tania and Mick Garwood and had an overwhelming number of requests to send Edward gifts, which is incredibly kind and is very much appreciated, and Edward has asked that his deepest thanks are sent to everyone who has asked how they go about this.
Sadly it is almost impossible for Edward to receive gifts because of the prison restrictions on the number of items that Edward can receive. In addition to this Edward has expressed his wish that other young people are assisted to ensure they get better access to education while in prison. For that reason he has asked if people would consider donating to a special fund which will be set up soon.
Dear Ed,
Best wishes to you on your birthday.
It is a terrible injustice that you are spending your birthday behind bars but take heart in that so many are thinking of you and supporting you and your family at this time.
Yours,
John

Just to say it was a privilege to walk with Mr and Mrs Farmer yesterday on the March in London. They briefed me on the background and told me that Ed is working hard whilst in a YOI and he has been asked to be a mentor. That is brill. Out of adversity, new skills and opportunities will arise. Go grab those opportunities and make success out of difficulties!
Hello I was wondering if ed can receive gifts while away, and if so what type of gifts?
